Installing DBD::mysql on Snow LeopardThe Spork Blog's got the goods. Basically, you must use MySQL's own officially supported Mac version, rather than the more hacker-attuned fink version. I'm disappointed that fink falls down here, because MySQL is definitely a technology I'd rather maintain through a command-line package manager than though manual download-and-install methods, as pretty as the new System Preferences pane is. Still: it works. (And this is probably the least general-audience-appropriate Appleseed blog post ever. Alas! But, I wanted to reward that article with some google juice...) 2 CommentsLeave a comment |

Hey there, Wherever was this website when I started blogging 4 years ago?! Seriously this web site would have diminished the level of exploration I had to do as I went about my blogging existence. It might probably also have aided me to produce a acceptable revenue sooner as well.
Actually a skillful piece of writing buddie in this particular issue. I'm contemplating if I might use this write up on my own web-site, I can link it back aimed at your blog though. If this sounds like an issue i highly recommend you inform me and For certain i will remove it straightaway. June
